![]() ![]() If the sound of having to use cheat sheets or listen to morse code scares you, maybe this one you won't like. The main issues of this map comes in the form of how solo unfriendly it is, and the sorts of steps you need to do to unlock the melee wonder weapons. The Shadowed Throne (DLC2): this map is stronger when it comes to side quests and easter eggs, the melee wonder weapons are fun and each has their own unique niche abilities, if you enjoy the more realistic WAW-esque vibe of WW2, you will also like this one, just don't expect something colorful and cheerish like 3arc or IW. The wonder weapon is useful but not really wonderful, and this is the norm in WW2 zombies, don't expect very OP wonder weapons, they are much more tactical and toned down to the more serious approach of the game. It's weakeness is all it's content is in the Main EE. The Darkest Shore (DLC1): the strength of this map comes with it's atmosphere and easter egg, personally a pretty fun and challenging easter egg to do and a very eerie vibe which sets the tone of this game as going back to it's WAW roots when it comes to the story, atmosphere and the horror element. Groesten Haus (base game): a fun challenge survival map which is the smallest map in zombies history, has a sort of "wunderwizz machine" to acquiring perks, and a secret little easter egg to unlock the mystery box and another to make it so it's guns come already pack a punched, because of this a very fun map to just test the huge weapon pool of WW2 zombies, and i gotta say one of the strong points of this zombies is how the devs listened to how we wanted weapons to go back to having special effects after being pack a punched, there are so many guns with various different cool and strong PAP abilities. Survival in this map can be fun but is also very easy since the map is very open, in general a fun map to play casually The base wonder weapon is kind unispired and not very good, can be good to stun zombies, the upgrade processes for it (this uses the 4 elements formula) are simple enough and fun to do mostly in my opinion, the upgraded wonder weapons are strong but in my opinion not very well balanced among themselves and still feel kinda unispired. There is also a Hardcore Quest which is just the Casual Quest with some extra hidden steps, needing to do the wonder weapon upgrades and a slightlyyy harder bossfight. The Final Reich (base game): a big sized map based on a german village with the very distinct experience of having a guided quest, the quest is fun and simple to do, with a very good bossfight, can be done even in public macthes easily! But also if you just wanna survive and maybe upgrade the wonder weapons, you just need to do a small part of it. Let's talk about it Gameplay Wise with it's content offering begining with MAPS I've started really getting deep into WW2 and experiecing the DLCs since july (i played a lot of Final Reich when WW2 came out, but only bought season pass and came back to it now) and im really loving it.Ībout the supposed "jumpscare massacre", don't worry about it, jumpscares only happen in the Final Reich and not that often, if you played only final reich for too long they eventually just get old and lose their purpose and that is why people started complaining about them, but the devs were listening and changed how they would keep the scare factor in the DLCs, i saw the main dev for WW2 zombies say that directly.
